To train professionals with an integral vision of the prevention of occupational risks and of their integration into the company, with skills in detecting risks inherent in the work of each organisation, to develop the measures of suitable preventive action, run the system of prevention of occupational risks and promote a cultural change that gives greater value to prevention among the personnel of a company or institution, acquiring roles leader and assessor of the management.
The University Masters in Prevention of Occupational Risks comprises 60 ECTS credits which are structured in 3 common modules and one speciality module.
The qualification holders will be accredited to develop the skills for the function of higher level of prevention of occupational risks (training requisites required by RD 39/1997, of the 17 January), with the possibility of acquiring skills in its three specialities: safety at work, industrial hygiene and ergonomics and applied psychosociology.
The Masters involves a type of semi-classroom based course, with the exception of the Masters Thesis which corresponds to practical experience in an external company or entity.
University degree holders who wish to acquire or broaden their knowledge in the field of prevention, acting as managers, auditors or consultants, becoming trained as professionals who contribute to preserving the health and physical integrity of people in their workplace.
One academic year.
The course starts I October of February of the academic year.
